Design for Screen
The course starts with a question - 'What is Graphic Design?'. We spend three years investigating the role of the Graphic Designer as a problem solver, creative thinker and professional practitioner. We investigate solving problems of communication through type and image. We consider how production and distribution impact on the work we produce or propose. We consider what we want to say, to whom and why? We ask what is it to be professional?
After three years we all have our own answer...THIS IS GRAPHIC DESIGN.

I hate teaching! It’s not in my nature - I’m quite shy you see. Most of the work we do as designers is relatively temporary. However by spending time with the students, encouraging, influencing and hopefully inspiring them, in some small way will leave a more lasting impression. And that is something I really love.
