Since 1993, the World Institute of Pain (WIP) has provided a global forum for education, training, and networking for thousands of physicians who dedicate themselves to the worldwide phenomena of acute and chronic pain syndromes.

Founded in 2010, The World Institute of Pain Foundation (WIPF) has been created to give back to the pain community and to the pain patients, the advances we have made in education and training of pain physicians. WIP-Indian Section is an integral part of the WIP family and continues to create a global platform to spread the knowledge of interventional pain. Now with its 3rd ICIPM program in Kolkata, WIPF is proud to partner with this important and advanced mission of the WIP-Indian Section.

WIPF’s mission is to ensure that patients in developing and underdeveloped countries will have the access to trained pain physicians for the eradication of pain and suffering. The WIPF also bestows the distinguished Hassenbusch Award to the individuals who embody the highest principles of excellence embraced by WIP & WIPF annually, to promote recognition of advancements in pain medicine. The Foundation is currently looking for funding to facilitate global research to promote new innovations for chronic complex pain, including cancer pain. As we continue to be challenged by the realities of pain medicine worldwide, financial help is now even more important to resolve the issues before us.

With your help, we can provide better training for pain physicians and raise the standards of pain management by providing scholarships for workshops and symposia.

With your help, we can create local programs in areas where pain management is not an option, and equipment and accessibility to trained physicians is limited.

With your help, we can partner with global societies to bring a voice to those who cannot tell their stories

INFORMATION FOR SUPPORTERS

BUILD YOUR OWN SUPPORT PACKAGE

Your company is invited to apply for different support opportunities. Supporters will be announced in the upcoming announcements and in the final program. Supporters are free to make their selection from the list of support options. Support Levels will be determined by your total investment in the congress and supporters will be acknowledged as follows:

MINIMUM PAYMENT

1. Platinum Supporter INR 20,00,000.00/ USD 37,700.00 2. Gold Supporter INR 14,00,000.00/USD 26,500.00 3. Silver Supporter INR 9,00,000.00/ USD 17,000.00

ATTENDANCE SUPPORT

Sponsors may charge a maximum of 30% of the support value spent on attendance support towards the support package.

PRIORITY FOR PREMIER SUPPORTERS

Deadline for submitting your interest to become a Premier supporter is on June 30, 2013 in order to exercise the priority. A confirmation letter will be sent to your company after receipt of your signed booking form. The congress organizers shall consider the following factors in evaluating the priority of companies in choosing their support items:1. Support Package chosen2. Date the signed Premier Support Booking Form was submitted to the organizers

After June 30 2013, all those who have submitted their Premier Support Booking Forms will be informed on their priority number. First priority to choose their preferred support items and exhibition space location will be given to Platinum Supporters, second priority to Gold Supporters and third priority to Silver Supporters. Should there be two (2) or more supporters in the same category – the supporter who submitted their signed booking form first shall be given first priority on that level. This process will be completed before July 07, 2013.Priority can only be chosen to the amount of support confirmed by the company. For example, if a company chooses to be a Platinum Supporter – your priority to choose will be up to the amount of INR 20,00,000.00 0r USD 37,000.00.

Companies that would take up other forms of support after June 30, 2013 will still be acknowledged as a “Level Supporter” (if their support total reaches the indicated amounts above) BUT their priority to choose will be on “as available” basis only.

Lastly, should any of the level supporter take up additional support items AFTER June 30, 2013 – these amounts will be counted to their overall commitment. Should their new pledge allow them to reach the next support level, they will be acknowledged as such in subsequent printed material, but there will be no priority and will be taken “as available” basis as well.
