I love working with my hands so I was incredibly fortunate to stumble into technical dentistry. What do you like most about it? I love the challenges and balance between the technical and the artistic that the work demands; and to watch my team in action – they are amazing. What would you be if you weren’t a dental technician? I’d probably be a cabinet maker. What’s your biggest achievement? I’m not sure there is one. I consider myself very lucky to be surrounded by great friends, close family, and fabulous clients and staff. What gets you out of bed in the morning? Getting my daughter to the bus on time. And what keeps you awake at night? Not much! How do you relax? By spending time with my wife and kids. I play golf, mountain bike, windsurf and fly model jets. What are you reading at the moment? My daughter Georgie recommended The Hunger Games so I’m enjoying reading that. I’m also watching Breaking Bad it’s a work of genius! What was the last film you watched? The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared. What’s your favourite album? Can’t Buy a Thrill by Steely Dan. What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud? Watching my kids fool around. What would your ‘luxury’ item be if you were stranded on a desert island? An axe to open the coconuts!
