    INTRODUCTION

    This Project has been carried out with the purpose to create an attractive and

    innovatory tool designed as a web site for elementary level whose the aim is to

    increase the for linguistic skills through the three topics developed (Every

    schedules, the house, the circus) on the web site.

    It is essential as teacher to apply different strategies that help the students of

    foreign language to access to knowledge more easily and therefore the acquisition

    of the target language will be meaningful indeed. Of course, we must be able to

    manage these strategies properly, to profit the advantages of counting on such a

    useful material, thus we will accomplish the set aim.

    Another vital factor that deserves to be considered is motivation because as long

    as students are thrilled to learning, this project will be successful, thats why we

    have focused on the new technologies, since they give us the option to be

    innovatory and creative as we teach.

    OBJECTIVES

    GENERAL AIM

    To design and apply new and helpful pedagogical material in the foreign

    language teaching-learning process.

    SPECIFIC AIMS

    To strengthen the four linguistic skills.

    To improve the linguistic competence and performance in the foreign

    language students.

    To motivate the students through the use of new technologies in foreignlanguage classroom.

    JUSTIFICATION

    In the middle of XX century, the education has suffered radical changes; it carried

    along with one, to assume and to adapt new strategies that help us as teachers

    reinforce and to motivate the students in the teaching learning process of a foreign

    language.

    The teaching of foreign languages constitutes a specialty that it has been extended

    their basis and perspectives in a great way to incorporated the contributions of

    different sciences as the new technologies.

    The communicative competence suggests to capable of performing, therefore

    learners need possibilities to understand and interpret their reality in an interactive

    form and these options are in the new technologies. Also in a global world, it is

    relevant to communicate in an effective way; it is only acquired by practice and the

    adequate use of specifics tools used in the learning of foreign languages.

    Nowadays, the technology is an useful tool, that allows us in the teaching of

    languages to facilitate this process through of the practical and attractive ways for

    the students, for this reason the new technologies allow the access to the learner

    in an autonomous manner, where the student develops different tasks, according

    to the suggestions in the page of each section. The virtual lesson involves the

    learners, motivates them with different kinds of games, activities, roll plays, colors,

    gifts, shapes, songs, stories, readings and so on, in this way the students increase

    their knowledge and develop a real competence in English language in an

    interactive way. And also it facilitates us to adapt specific contexts so as to involve

    the students in real situations of communication.

    THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

    Foreign language learning is a complex process in which many factors come as an

    influence. In this case we are linking this learning process with the new

    technologies, so as to find different ways to access knowledge more easily.

    Nowadays we can find many web sites which contain English grammatical content,

    but the lack of an array procedure fails to achieve whichever goals the web site

    users have set.

    That is one main reason why we have designed a web site, nevertheless, the

    development of the classes will be under our guidance as teachers in order to elicit

    as many profits as we can from this project, as a result, students will success in

    learning the target language, given that they respond well to the right stimulus

    especially if this stimulus match their likes.

    In a world where time seems to be the most precious quality and interaction a

    primary activity, learning a foreign language is no longer a luxury, a wish, a dream

    or a skill related to wealthy people. It concerns all the population in the world.

    Planet Earth is so small now, distances seem to be shorter and the frontiers of

    language are no longer difficult to trespass. Our current world is characterized by

    intercultural communication due to the scientific and technological advances.

    English remains a relevant tool for education, a strategic mean of communication

    in diverse areas of human development.

    A foreign language encourages students to open their minds, to accept and

    understand new cultures and to improve the interchange between different

    societies. In addition, it offers them better job opportunities since this makes easier

    the interchange of knowledge, allowing them to express themselves through

    common and diffused languages.

    In our Colombian context, English has the feature of a foreign language, assuming

    and knowing it has the importance of a universal language. The Education ministry

    has established on its politics to improve the quality of English teaching.

    Now-a-days, the most popular interaction media is internet given that it easily

    diffuses the requirements of information. It also constitutes a language teaching

    resource on the net; the students have the facility to visit websites where they will

    find a diversity of options to choose according to their needs for learning a foreign

    language.

    On internet, students can interact with other learners and native speakers through

    out the world in a record time and use a wide range of services.

    When designing an online course it is only obvious that we should follow an

    educational pattern. Every class must be planed with a purpose and mainly with an

    order. It is also advisable to choose a level to work with, a level we adapt to the

    main topics. All the lessons offer learning stages, starting by readings to introduce

    a main subject where grammatical structures seem to be implicated learned.

    Readings are accompanied by grammar spots or explanations and vocabulary.

    These two have sound documents to reinforce listening comprehension and even

    speaking production. Web sites pursue to develop as many competences as they

    may. Currently, skills are impossible to isolate. Communication primes oral

    interaction, however, integral learning stands for proficiency in the four

    competences (speaking, reading, writing and listening).

    CONCLUSION

    The expectations about the success of this project are high, since the learning-

    teaching process is quite complex, this is the reason we commit ourselves to

    develop different ways to facilitate the acquisition of the target language.

    The subjects explored in this project will allow the students of elementary level to

    begin their learning process in an arranged way by following a sequence the solid

    basis, so as to avoid possible obstacles during advancement of the acquisition of

    the target language.

    Once students become more confident, they will start to coming up with study

    strategies on their own.
