Other Initiatives
•Captive Solar Power:
Added 13 MW of captive solar power capacity in FY’20
Another 6.09 MW capacity installed in current year taking total to 31 MW
•Energy saving measures:
Most lights across various work centres changed to energy efficient lights
Resulted in energy saving of approx. 52MU per annum - monetary savings of about Rs. 36 Crore annually
• Innovation: Uran Plant increased C2-C3 production by 200 MT/day regaining annual revenue of about Rs. 175 Crore
Attained process chilling in Ethane Propane Recovery Unit (EPRU) during non-availability of Propane compressor
•Renewable Energy:
Total installed capacity as on 31st March, 20 is 178 MW.
ONGC and NTPC have signed an MOU to set up Joint Venture for Renewable Energy Business
