Please look at the enclosed material carefully. We have had a great response for people that haveold us they plan on attending our reunion from both AHS and St. Agnes. Now to make reservations withroviders we need to get funding from you.
If people wish, there is a home game on Friday night that they can attend. The next day there will beelf-guided tour of some of the fantastic things that have been developed since we graduated. We arealling this the Alliance Passport tour because you will need to stop at the Alliance Chamber Office at 305ox Butte to pickup a passport. Once you get your passport you will have from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to see
he following: Knight Museum and Sandhills Center-908 Yellowstone
A $4.3 million dollar contribution to the City of Alliance by the Eldred family was dedicated two years ago andis a world-class, Smithsonian quality museum and been awarded the Nebraska Tourism award for NebraskaCommunity Improvement.
ity Fountain and Sallows Military Museum-1104 NiobraraThe city fountain was redone four years ago by a $235,000 renovation and the Sallows Military Museum housesmemorabilia from nearly every war and conflict. The Plant Conservatory is in the east end of the MilitaryMuseum and is an interesting area as well.
Dobbys Frontier Town- 320 E. 25th Dobbys was started by Dobby Lee in 1987 and is areat collection
of historical items from Box Butte County and the Alliance Area. Over 8500 hours of volunteer time have beeninvested in the last three years. They have also received the Nebraska Community Improvement Tourism
Award.
The Performing Arts Center- 1450 Box Butte -was a $6.3 million dollar endeavor that wasadded to the north side of the Community Building or North High Auditorium. It is a tremendous asset to ourschool system and the community. You will also be allowed to go into the gym and south entrance to the gymwhere the trophies and concession area were.
Carhenge-located 3 miles north of Alliance-was done in 1987 and attract an estimated 80,000 visitors ayear.
Nebraska Veterans Cemetery- located at the Alliance Airport-CR 57-dedicated 2 years ago and was the
culmination of a 20 year effort to have a Veterans Cemetery located in our area. This is a tremendous exampleof the honor that should be paid to our veterans.
arnegie Arts Center-204 W. 4th-located in the former City Library this is a testament to the talent of our areand the fine arts that have always been a part of Alliances heritage.
Each attraction will have someone present to stamp or initial your passport and when you are done you will return it toe Alliance Chamber of Commerce. Part of your passport will then be used for an entry for a prize drawing Saturday evening ate get-together at the SkyView Golf Course. The Alliance Passport tour is totally free.
Saturday there will be the opportunity to tour the old store fronts below the former Rhoads building at 323 Box Butte.his is a rare chance to go downstairs and see part of Alliances history. In order to arrange this we have to guarantee 20 peopleill participate. There is a cost for this tour of $5.00 per person and that has to be paid in advance.

On Saturday, the evening meal will be at the Skyview Golf Course-2613 County Rd 57. If you want to golfarlier in the day, the number is 308-762-1446. Following is the menu: Ribeye steak, potato, andegetable. (Scrumptious!) Cash Bar and 1 keg provided by our reunion funds.
On Sunday, the evening meal will be at the remodeled Newberry Building- 402 Box Butte- Social hour::30 to 6:30. Meal is at 6:30 with menu of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and salad. Cash Bar.
Sunday at Newberrys a composite picture will be taken by Stephs Studio at 8:00 pm-Orders will beaken at that time
