Greetings of Peace and Prosperity!

The College of Education Students Organization (CESO) of Mindanao State University-General Santos City will spearhead the conduct of the SOCSKSARGEN-wide Young Educators Summit (YES!) 2014 with the theme: YES to EDUCATION, YES to CONVERGENCE on January 25, 2014 in Lagao Gymnasium, Lagao, General Santos City. This activity aims to provide understanding on the role of education in attaining peace, unity and progress in society; develop educational plans, programs, projects and activities for SOCSKSARGEN; and foster cooperation and establish linkages among all education students and young professional teachers of various schools, colleges and universities in the region.

The concluding activity of the summit is the Search for Mr. & Ms. YES 2014 which will be participated by one (1) male and one (1) female representative from every participating college and university. The winning candidates shall serve as the ambassador and ambassadress of education that shall banner the YES advocacy.

Anent this, we are inviting interested young professional teachers employed public/private elementary, secondary and tertiary schools in SOCSKSARGEN to join and participate in this convention of young educators. Below are the schedules of pre-registration of participants with corresponding registration fee:

Inclusive in the registration fee are the food (lunch & AM-PM snacks), seminar kit, membership in SOCSKSARGEN EDUCATORS CONGRESS (SEC), and four (4) personalized certificates, for the three (3) topical talks in the morning and the forum on Education for Convergence in the afternoon.
