_ Collection Statement_ Textile development through the use of sheer and lightweight silks, con-trasting with wool crepe and the use of producing a surface through screen printing. With a focus on creating a surface, the traditional silk screen printing technique was combineed with industrial materials to manipulate and develop prints in a new direction. _ Structure vs fluid lines was key to developing silhouette design. _ colour palette deriving from past collections from contemporary designers and the influence of block colour from Mark Rothko’s paintings.
