Premises: proof or evidence for the conclusion. Eg:because, since, given that, for.
Conclusion: the point of the argument. What is being ‘claimed’. Eg:thus, therefore, hence, it follows that, so, consequently
Argument: A course of reasoning aimed at demonstrating truth or falsehood
Most Americans eat at fast-food establishments more than once a
week.
Many researchers agree the habit of eating junk food causes obesity.
Obesity-related diseases burden the healthcare system.
Taxing junk food in America would benefit Americans.
