Film Poster Progression
The Original Image
I removed the chimney of this building and the building opposite to give the illusion of some kind of attacks taking place.
I removed a man who was walking in this area.
Clone Stamp Tool.
I used the clone stamp tool to alter the sign on this establishment and make it look like it has been shaken.
I increased the brightness and colour of the photo to bring out colours and contrast
I then desaturated to make the image seem darker to fit with the theme of the film.
I added a purple tint and some dark clouds to the sky to remove the look of a bright day, which has positive connotations.
I added smoke to come out of the chimney, as if it’s on fire.
I added more clouds in dark colours to give the scene a more ominous feel.
I added a nuclear war head to allude to what the film is about.
I added blood to the scene to make things seem more dangerous.
I added a title, a ‘coming soon’, and website and a production company logo to give audiences more information.
I added a website because viral marketing is the best way to reach my target demographics currently.
