Loyalty in the end. Time- forked narrative. Back in time.

Rags to riches to rags.

Examples include: Bruce Almighty, Its a Wonderful Life, Pulp

Fiction, Home Alone

Man has always wanted to win the lottery. Wishes he could.

Man wins lottery.

Man makes new friends. Betrays best friend.

Man realises his dreams arent what he thought they would always be.

Man wishes he could go back.

Man goes back and gives away ticket. (forked narrative) (enigma)

Main- Dave, run of the mill guy, works 9-5, hates his job, alwayswanted to win the lottery.

Daves Best Mate- Smithy, Lives in the same flat, known Dave for

ages. Close friends since 5.

Daves New Friends Posh, Rich, meets them after he wins thelottery.

Tramp- Dave passes him every day going to work. (like BruceAlmighty)

Millionaire friends Suits, black ties,sunglasses. Which suggests wealth and

success.

Main lighting: natural key lighting, fills the scene with natural

light.

We need all natural lighting to set the scene, as nothing is

going to be fake or edited in, it needs look like real life.

We mite need some key lighting when the characters are in a

house or a dark place.

- Ages 18/30, maybe 45 year old film people.

- We want to look at capturing a student audience between

the ages of 16+, and also we want to be looking at appealing

to 30+ film buffs.

- It will be shown on Web 2.0 media platforms, i.e. like

Youtube, MediaShare and Vimeo. This will broaden the

aspects of the range of potential audiences.

The theme of time is covered by using a forked

narrative. The main character goes back in time to

before he buys the ticket.

Main Character has a recurring theme of repetition of

time through his job.

Scene 1 - Daves at work, hating his job, looking sad fed-up (montage) short clips.

Scene 2 Dave goes home, and talking to his best friend.

Scene 3 At work Dave finds out that its the euro lot, puts his numbers on the lot that day after work.

Scene 4 Dave wins the lot, while at home with Smithy.(watching the tv)

Scene 5 voice over saying this is where my life begins, Photo montage of the holiday.

Scene 6 Argument with Smithy and Dave.

Scene 7 scene in his bed, ill, rich friends leaving him

Scene 8 slow down, thinking about smithy, smithy thinking about him

Scene 9 Dave wishing for his old life back, tossing a coin in the air, slow down shot of coin flapping.

Scene 10 goes back (TBD)

Scene 11 Daves back to once hes got the ticket in his hand, looks up and down again, thinks and givesthe ticket to the near by tramp (who was in nearly every scene) Dave says to the tramp Good Luck.(TBD)
