Introduction

This is an exercise that will remind me of the main features that are on a magazine cover. In turn, this will help me to apply these technicalities to my own magazine and ensure that it is successful and conventional.

• Tagline – Often found under the masthead, it is usually a description of the magazine itself and not the specific content it features on that particular issue.

• Skyline – Information that features on the very top of the magazine (but can sometimes be at the bottom) that gives additional info on what is in the issue of the magazine.

Conclusion

This task has helped remind me of the conventions that feature on film magazines, and will allow me to create content that will be recognisable and conventional. It’s especially helpful that I looked at a film magazine, as other magazines have varying conventions, and I may have run a risk of creating a magazine that would not be recognisable.
