Storytellers have taken advantage of this and shown off their skills in the form of a 'good story' since the beginning of civilization. You may have your own favorite story from childhood and, sometimes, these tales are both fascinating and frightening. Stories like these include myths, folktales, and legends. An old story, handed down through time, that might tell about gods and heroes or explain events in nature.
