Operating Conditions for the Media at FIFA Official Training Sites and “Casa Azzurri” Media Centre
Introduction Media operations and activities at FIFA Official Training Sites and FIGC “Casa Azzurri Mangaratiba” Media Centre will be managed in compliance with the guidelines laid down by FIFA and, with respect to Casa Azzurri only, based on any commercial agreements that may be entered into between FIGC and Italy‐based national media. Terms and Conditions Access to the aforementioned facilities will be restricted to: a) Holders of “FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014” accreditation issued by FIFA; b) With respect to “Casa Azzurri Mangaratiba” only, access will be extended to authorised
personnel working at such facility. FIGC shall own the exclusive rights of all activities and events organised within its own “Casa Azzurri Mangaratiba” Media Centre. Access by FIFA‐accredited media to the events staged at FIFA Official Training Sites and FIGC “Casa Azzurri Mangaratiba” Media Centre shall be granted consistent with safety and security rules and regulations.
Operating Conditions for FWC Brazil 2014 Accredited Media FIFA Official Training Sites Conditions governing access to FIFA Official Training Sites “Portobello” and VSTS will be the same as those implemented by FIFA for competition stadia. The representatives of accredited media will be allowed to operate solely:
‐ In compliance with the programme notified by FIGC ‐ In specified areas ‐ According to the relevant types of FIFA accreditation It is expressly forbidden to broadcast images in motion (“LIVE”) from within the facility by any technical means, unless prior agreements have been reached with FIGC. Consistent with FIFA provisions, holders of FIFA “Written/Web Press" accreditation are expressly forbidden to take audiovisual shots and/or to broadcast images (still or in motion). As a result, they will not be allowed to enter premises with or use video cameras, save for ENG accompanying crews.
FIGC “Casa Azzurri Mangaratiba” Media Centre Without prejudice to conditions governing access to the facility, FIGC will own the rights of all activities and events staged within its own “Casa Azzurri Mangaratiba” Media Centre. The representatives of accredited media will be allowed to operate solely: a) In compliance with the programme to be notified by FIGC; b) According to the type of accreditation granted to them (see table); c) In areas designated for media activities; d) Consistent with the exclusive broadcasting rights exercised by (i) “Radio TV” and (ii) “Web” right holders.
Media NOT holding FIFA “broadcaster” accreditation are expressly forbidden to take audiovisual shots and broadcast images in motion (LIVE/delayed) from within the facility by any technical means, unless prior agreements have been reached with FIGC Right Office. Use of audiovisual shots for Media holding FIFA “broadcaster” accreditation are limited to their own TV or web platform and therefore any handing over to third parts is expressly forbidden.
A distribution plan will be applied within the facility for the provision of a number of services (for a fee) throughout the Italian National Team’s stay during the 2014 World Cup, the purpose being to govern matters pertaining to the use of images intended for TVs and, in particular, the Web, with FIGC holding the exclusive live broadcasting rights.
