ProcessIn ArcMap: • Subset point layer (buildings, canopy) • Export shapefile, add columns

In Pathfinder Office • Create Trimble-compatible files (.imp, .ddf) • Import data into the data dictionary • Export to Juno

In the field: • Visit each point, verify

Return to lab, and export your verified data

Create new, empty DD, then import shape file into it

Note: • Verify both layers • Field check only a subset of features, 10

(buildings) to 20 (crowns) layer • Use the Juno’s internal GPS, DO NOT PAIR with

an external receiver • Create a map that shows your verified features,

and turn in the map • Turn in .imp, .ddf, and shapefile/geodatabase of

your verified features
