SPRING – FALL 2016 STRAWBERRY TRIAL WITH MAPAQ FIELD TRIAL RESULTS TRIAL DESIGN Trial conducted on Fraisèrie Talfor in Plessisville, Québec. This trial was part of a Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) initiative evaluating methods to increase strawberry production during the low- production period between harvests of June-bearer and day-neutral strawberries. Strawberries were grown under a high tunnel of 6 rows, 300 plants per row. Four rows were selected for treatment. Half of each row was treated with Concentric’s IN-M1* while the other half was used as the untreated control, either with or without the addition of potassium silicate fertilizer. Four treatments were applied. All other inputs were as the grower standard. 1. Potassium silicate 2. IN-M1 + potassium silicate 3. IN-M1 without potassium silicate 4. Untreated control Strawberries were started in a growth room on March 24, 2016 and planted under high tunnel on May 15, 2016. The trial ran until the end of harvests on October 16, 2016. Applications of IN-M1 were a drench of 5.65 fl oz/100ft 2 made in the growth room March 24, and a foliar application of 0.31 fl oz/100 ft 2 twice over the season, at planting on May 15 and when over 50% of plants had reached 5 trifoliate on June 24. *IN-M1 is currently labeled as INOCUCOR GARDEN SOLUTION® in the United States and INOCUCOR IN-M1 (0-0-0.2) SYNERGRO® in Canada.

IN-M1 (currently labeled as INOCUCOR GARDEN SOLUTION® in the U.S. and Inocucor IN-M1 (0-0-0.2) SYNERGRO® in Canada) is a microbial technology for growers that helps sustain robust plant growth, impart vigor and enhance yield. It is designed to be active across a diverse range of specialty produce, geographies and for all types of modern growing systems from field to greenhouse to hydroponics, for both organic and conventional growers. More robust plants can better deal with the challenges of production agriculture, including transplantation of seedlings, poor soil, extreme weather and other biotic and abiotic stresses.
