Field Applications Engineer (FAE) is responsible for technical sales activities in new and existingopportunities. Individual contributor will work closely with Sales and Extended ea!s to ensure overalltechnical design proposal !eets custo!er re"uire!ents. FAE will have in#depth$ hands#on experience withSuper!icro Server%Storage%E!bedded and Switching &roducts and Solutions$ 'o!petitors &roducts andServices$ with the ability to present and de!onstrate those solutions to 'usto!ers and &artners. FAE iscritical part of &re and &ost Sales cycle and !ust be capable of displaying in#depth technical knowledge ofSuper!icro and co!petitive products and solutions as well as technologies and !arket drivers.

Position Responsibilities:

orks closely with the sales and extended tea!s to !ap end#user custo!er business$partner re"uire!ents and provide !ost opti!i ed technical solutions.

&rovides technical leadership in &re#Sales and oversee i!ple!entation of such solutions.

*ighly technical proble! solver who understands syste! architecture$ hardware andsoftware interaction.

Should possess basic * debug skills.

+anage and leads product * and S engineers during product develop!ent.

+anage and leads tea!s during investigation and resolution of proble!s in the field.

*as a good understanding of fir!ware$ drivers$ ,S$ Applications and their interaction thatcan cause syste! issues.

-evelop and review syste!s solutions$ technical bid responses and presentations.

ork cross#depart!ent to ensure custo!er satisfaction and ti!ely resolution of issues

Ability to build and de!onstrate proof#of#concept that !eets or exceeds custo!er businessneeds.

Ability to present the corporate brand$ product !essaging and solutions to custo!ers.

Position Requirements:

2achelors3 or +asters3 degree in engineering discipline4 co!puter science$ co!puterengineering and electrical engineering preferred.

Excellent co!!unication skills and business sense re"uired

+ini!u! 0 to 50 year related experience with 'o!pute%Storage Server or -ata 'enter or IInfrastructure experience desired

Strong background and experience with x67#based server architecture.

Solid * syste! design and diagnostics skills.

Fa!iliarity with Fir!ware$ 8inux$ indows and virtuali ation platfor!s is a plus.
