Foam filling of tires
Tires on wheel loaders used for recycling applications, e.g. scrap metal,
construction debris and waste, can be filled with foam.
A plastic mass is pumped into the tire, which is mounted on the rim. This
mass is then polymerised to become a permanently elastic filling.
The tire manufacturer's warranty becomes void!
These vehicles cannot be registered for road use!
The mounting release depends on the wheel loader's equipment
and the operating weight. The factory must be consulted!
If third-party equipment is to be installed, a stability checklist (see
page 41) must be requested from [email protected] and sent to
the Liebherr Bischofshofen plant!

7The bucket is suitable for loading material. Filling the bucket is made easier by the bucket floor,
which rises by about 5.
It has welded-on tooth holders with add-on teeth or three-piece bolt-on reversible cutting edge.
Actual bucket capacity may be approx. 10 % larger than the calculation according to ISO 7546 standard.
The degree to which the bucket can be filled depends on the material.

The bucket is suitable for earthmoving and for cohesive material.
The straight, flat base of the bucket with grading edge at the rear is also suitable for grading work
and for cleaning loading areas.

Thanks to the convenient shift control the hand can remain on the control lever, and
excellent fine control is possible. The loading and discharging functions cannot be actuated
simultaneously with the comfort shift control.

Automatic bucket level postioner
(standard equipment)
If the bucket is in the dumped position the Liebherr control lever must be
moved in the loading direction beyond the peak pressure point and as
far as the limit stop, then released.
The control lever is held in this position by magnetic force, as soon
as the loading bucket reaches the pre-position (normaly level - ready
no dig), the magnet will release the control lever.

Particle protection for radiator
The particle protection was developed for extremly dust-intensive
operation to prevent the radiator gills from becoming clogged too
rapidly. Coarse pre-separation of all dust particles (fluff)
The particle protection is mounted with a quick-acting lock to permit
very easy removal and easy cleaning.
LBH recommends ordering the
vehicle with a reversible fan drive
from the factory, as retrofitting is
expensive.

Automatic central lubrication system
The grease central lubrication pump with clear-vision reservoir and
integral electronic control unit is attached to the left side of the
machine, behind the entrance steps. A rocker switch with integral
telltale lamp for functional control is installed in the cabin.
The automatic central lubrication system mainly consists of the

The reversible fan drive
cleans the intercooler. The time
interval can be set, as cleaning
requirements vary for different
applications.
Reversible fan drive
With a Liebherr central lubrication system every lubricating point of
the machine is continously lubricated with accurately metered
amounts of grease while the machine is in operation.
This is because the frequent supply of small amounts of grease is
considered to be more effective than a few large amounts.
This method helps to distribute the lubricant evenly in the bearing
and reduce wear considerably.
