Technical ApplicationThe production of High Tenacity Polyamide yarn requires spin nishes oering good performance during ber ma-nufacturing but also for the downstreaming and in the nal application (e.g. Airbags, Tire Cord). STANTEX spin nishes are avalable for neat- and emulsion applications.

FloorcoveringsPolyamide yarns continue to be used in high value carpet applications. This is due to the superior properties of polyamide compared with other yarn types. NonwovensPET bers spunlace process:STANTEX spin nishes are applicable for the production of polyester staple bers which are bonded by hydroent-anglement. The spin nishes exhibit low foam formation during the spunlacing process.TheseproductsareincompliancewithCFRtitle21andEU10/2011.

PET bers carded nonwoven:STANTEX spin nishes are suitable for the production of polyester staple bers for carded nonwovens.They provide durable hydrophilic properties and are suitable for hygiene products such as diapers. The bers have an excellent carding behavior.

Floor coveringsPolyester is also a ber of choice in carpet production due to its availability and also its resistance to food staining. Pulcra Chemicals oers approved auxiliaries both for the manufac-turing of bulked continuous ber and polyester staple bers.

Textile/ApparelDue to its light weight and hydrophobicity polypropyle-ne yarn is the material of choice for functional apparel. With our specialized STANTEX spin nishes for the ma-nufacturing of ne polypropylene partially oriented yarn (POY)wehelpyoutoproduceflat,drawtextureyarn,(DTY),andairtextureyarn(ATY)withexcellentsoftnessand comfort.

Technical ApplicationPolypropylene is the material of choice for many technical applications. STANTEX spin nishes are available for laments (CF) covering the whole denier range including spin nishes for food contact. Further-more PULCRA CHEMICALS oers spin nishes for many dierent applications like geo textiles, tapes for pa-ckaging and others.

FloorcoveringsPolypropylene is the economical solution for many car-pet applications. The biggest share is produced as bulk continuousfiber(BCF)yarn.OurSTANTEXspinfinishesperform well on all machine types and for many applica-tions including Soft Touch. Tapes used as carpet backing, covered with STANTEX, oer excellent performance regarding stitching forces.

PULCRA CHEMICALS POLYPROPYLENE

NonwovensPolypropylene staple ber:Under the trade name STANTEX Pulcra Chemicals oer a wide range of spin nishes for the production of staple bers which are processed into nonwovens especially for hygiene end use. For these applications hydrophilic and durable hydrophilic silicone free and skin friendly spin nishes are available. The durable STANTEX spin nishes provide low rewet and low multiple strike through and excellent run o values. The spin nishes provide good antistatic properties to the polyolen bers which results in good carding performance. There are also products available for bicomponent bers of polypropylene / poly-ethylene (PP/PE) and polyethylene terephthalate / poly-ethylene (PET/PE). Pulcra Chemicals oers products with hydrophobic properties which impart softness. Pulcra Chemicals spin nish with active ingredients and skin friendly botanical extracts increase the value for the ber producer and respond to the wellness trend in the market.

Polypropylene staple ber spun lace process:STANTEX spin nishes are applicable for the production of polypropylene staple bers which are bonded by hydroentanglement. The spin nishes show low foam formation during the spunlace process. The products are incompliancewithCFRtitle21andEU10/2011.

Polypropylene spunbond nonwoven:Pulcra Chemicals oer spin nish types for the produc-tion of hydrophilic and permanent hydrophilic spunbond nonwovens. STANTEX spin nishes are in compliance with CFRtitle21andEU10/2011.Thespinfinishesaresiliconefree with excellent skin compatibility. They are ideal for hy-giene application like top sheet materials for baby diaper, feminine care, and adult incontinent products. STANTEX spin nishes provide very low rewet, excellent run o and low multiple strike through values.

Polypropylene staple bers for geotextiles:STANTEX type spin nishes are suitable for the production of staple bers which are processed into geotextile nonwovens.

Pulcra Chemicals oers excellent spin nishes like STANTEX and KATAX for polyacrylic staple bers and tow manufac-turing for dry and wet spinning.

Pulcra spin nishes oer the balance of friction and cohesi-on for each process ring spinning, open-end spinning, and tow converting. The use of selected STANTEX nishes helps to adjust the nal softness or scroopiness. The application is by immersion bath, kiss roll or by spraying.

STANTEX and KATAX nishes help to optimize yarn even-ness in thin and thick places and minimize neps.
