Introduction
The FIA assembled the FIA Drifting Working Group in 2015 with the aim of establishing a set of common standards and regulations for world wide drift competitions. To commemorate this, in 2017, the FIA decided to hold the world’s first Intercontinental Drifting Cup in Japan, the birthplace of the sport. For 2018, the FIA is returning to Japan for the 2nd Intercontinental Drifting Cup, staged right in the heart of Tokyo. We look forward to receiving your entry and rely on your support and commitment to further expand this new discipline.

Judgement
Judgement will be based on human judges, assisted by technology to make their task easier and better informed. The judging will be based on a combination of four factors: Speed, Angle, Line and Style.

PARTICIPATION TERMS
• Drivers will be evaluated by the FIA, and detailed information on past achievements may be requested.
• Priority will be given to those having achieved one of the highest-place in a national or regional drift series in the world.
• Drivers must have a competition license of at least D1 (FIA license {FIA I.S.C. -Appendix-L art.2.7}) issued by their ASN .
• Cars must conform to the latest FIA safety guidelines. • Entrants must pay the entry fee of US$ 3500, by 20th Sep or will lose their right to compete. • Entrants must pay the tire service and fuel cost during the event. • Entrants must apply to the promotor to use personal video cameras on their cars, and may not
publish any video without the organizers permission.
