The institution was formed in 1997 by Ma Antonieta Osornio Ramirez, who was national champion in jumping sports precision, leader and pioneer of women of the Mexican Army paratroopers. He overcame death after his fatal skydiving accident which inexplicably survived

As an organization, we belong to the Junta de Asistencia Privada (Council of Private Assistance) of Distrito Federal. This council supervises and audits the adequate management of resources, such as transparent accounting and mission effectiveness.

The wheelchairs provided by the hospitals (orthopedic wheel chairs) physically deteriorate the persons from the moment they sit on them. These wheelchairs are heavy and they are made of bad quality materials; that’s why they only stay in good conditions for a year or two. Besides, their functionality is poor, because they are the reason of secondary injuries that cause the person’s death such as: ulcers by pressure (escaras), malformations in the vertebral column and feet. As well as urinary infections and deficiency in internal organs such as: the digestive track, kidney, liver and lungs; and from slight to serious cardiovascular diseases.All or the above is due to a bad postures in theses inadequate wheelchairs. A person stays more than 12 hours a day seated on a wheelchair and if we combine a bad quality of chair and a bad postural position, his quality of life and its lifetime are dramatically reduced.A wheelchair must have like objective to allow the user the maximum functionality, comfort and mobility. In order to fulfill this, the chair must be designed to adjust itself to the person body and needs and not vice-versa. If an unsuitable wheelchair is chosen, it can be uncomfortable and mortal.We are taking care of this problem by donating active-wheelchairs. This kind of chair offers comfort, agility and increases the quality of life.It is constructed with light material, durable and its presentation increases the self-esteem of the people whom, far from using a chair where they seem ill, in these chairs its position is perfect and from the moment they sit on them their image changes radically. Due to its ergonomic design their mobility increases. It allows the person to make his activities of the daily life in the most independent way without affecting his health.Through practical workshops we train the users in the correct use of the active-wheelchair.

The persons with a spinal cord injury require a Jav2 Pillow, which is specially adapted to the persons size and type of injury. These pillows avoid the ulcers by pressure and adapts it form to the persons body and reduce pressure on the people skin.
