Important Message From: OUMC and LiFT Academy In today’s climate, we must insure the security and safety of both our church and the LiFT school. To that end, anyone (volunteers, garden angels, visitors, vendors, etc.) coming on the church campus must sign in. If visiting or doing work inside or outside the church, there is a notebook you must sign in on the table just outside the office. Anyone who will be visiting or doing any work near the LiFT school located in the Foundry and Wesley Learning Center (or their surrounding property and parking lots) must sign in at the Wesley Learning Center office and will be given an ID badge that must be worn while on campus. Due to the high security alerts all schools are constantly under, it is always a concern when school staff or students see anyone in the areas they occupy (inside or outside) they do not recognize. Same also goes for our church. So please always stop by and sign in whichever place you will be in or around every time you come. Driving behind the WLC and the Foundry is restricted during school hours unless you request permission from the Trustees, Church Office, or LiFT.

Thank you from both OUMC and LiFT.

MARY, MARY, QUITE CONTRARY, HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?

WITH SILVER BELLS AND COCKLESHELLS, AND PRETTY MAIDS ALL IN A ROW, BUT

WE NEED HELP!!!!

GARDEN ANGELS

Many thanks to our Garden Angels who faithfully beautify our campus. October 2018, we divided gardens

and hedges into 17 sections with 19 people currently volunteering. Our loyal workers include Bob Blain,

Rick and Betty Jacobson, Clive and Carol Bailey, Jan Metheny, Bill and Muriel Bodwell, Tony and Emma

Dobies, Tom Shepard, Gary Curtis, Gary and Mary Champney, Ray and Lin Johnson, Kathy Lockhart and

Fred and Mary Adams.

Signs mark the sections. We are in dire need for more Garden Angels to keep

our gardens flourishing. Please consider volunteering to give these areas

some TLC on a temporary or permanent basis. They need a little watering,

trimming, dead heading etc. We particularly need help in the gardens paral-

lel to the roadway in front of the West entrance down to the garden areas

between Fellowship Hall and Foundry. Some of the Garden Angels travel,

need a break or could use some extra help. If you would like your own area,

small, medium or large that can be arranged at any time. If you can help in

any way, we can’t tell you how much it would be appreciated.

If interested, please call Emma Dobies 727-391-2264. Thank You
