Annexure-D (National Law)

Pakistan National law: Dimensions and clearances of Trailers

1 Length The maximum length of the semi-trailer shall not exceed 13 meters and the maximum length of the tractor semi-trailer combination shall be 18 meters.

2 Width The maximum width of the semi-trailer or full-trailer shall be 2.6meters.

3 Height The maximum height with payload of the vehicle shall be no greater than 4.8 meters (laden or unladen).

Allowable Axle Loads in Pakistan The National Highways Safety Ordinance 2000 stipulates maximum axle loads and tire pressures:

• Front axle – 5.5 tones • Single axle - 12 tones • Tandem axle – 22 tones • Tridem axle – 31 tones

Pakistan National law: Dimensions and clearances of Trailers

1 Length The maximum length of the semi-trailer shall not exceed 13 meters and the maximum length of the tractor semi-trailer combination shall be 18 meters.

2 Width The maximum width of the semi-trailer or full-trailer shall be 2.6meters.

3 Height The maximum height with payload of the vehicle shall be no greater than 4.8 meters (laden or unladen).

Allowable Axle Loads in Pakistan The National Highways Safety Ordinance 2000 stipulates maximum axle loads and tire pressures:

• Front axle – 5.5 tones • Single axle - 12 tones • Tandem axle – 22 tones • Tridem axle – 31 tones
