EASTER At Easter we celebrate the resurrection of
Jesus described in the new testament. Easter is not exactly their date because it is a moveable feast. During the Easter we celebrate the many traditions. One tradition is painting eggs which produce colored Easter eggs. Known custom is also śmingus dyngus or cast Monday when splashed with water. We go to church with palm trees to symbolize the arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem. Some children also expects Coming of rabbit and then looking for a small gift.
MOTHER’S DAY They celebrated as an expression of
respect for all mothers. Date Mother's Day depends on the country in which it is celebrated. In Poland it is celebrated on May 26. On this day mothers are usually giving away beautiful cards, flowers and various gifts for their own children. Then our mothers are very happy.
FATHER’S DAY Festival as an expression of respect and
gratitude fathers in Poland celebrated every year on June 23 of 1965.That day fathers get the children small gifts such as gift cards or different sweets. Despite the relatively long history of Father's Day does not enjoy such great popularity, as Mother's Day, which does not change the fact that this is a very good opportunity to express gratitude for fathers
CHILDREN’S DAY Children's Day was established in 1954
by the General Assembly of the United Nations. This day is celebrated on June 1. Then the children get from their relatives and friends gifts. On the occasion of Children's Day in schools often it celebrated sports day; eg. by organizing competitions interclass. This feast is celebrated or awaited by children.
WOMEN'S DAY Women's Day is an annual holiday
celebrated on March 8 since 1910. Men hand then a friend to women - mothers, wives, partners of, colleagues flowers and small gifts. In some countries (such as Romania) that day is equivalent to the date of the mother, during which the children will offer small presents to their mothers and grandmothers.
BOYS’ DAY This feast is celebrated on September
30 in Poland. The day the girls hand small gifts and a boy are they nice. In this way, we respect the roles of the guys in our live. In other countries instead of a boy is celebrated on the day men.
VALENTINE’S DAY Valentine's Day- The annual celebration
of love falling on February 14. The name comes from St. Valentine, whose liturgical memorial celebrated in the Catholic Church is also on this day. Custom on this day is to send letters containing confessions of love (often written in verse). February 14 thus became an opportunity to bestow a small gift.
INDEPENDENCE DAY This feast obchdzimy in Poland on
November 11 to commemorate the independence of Poland. Recovery of Poland's independence was a gradual process. The choice of November 11, you can justify the coincidence of events in Poland with the end of World War I through the Armistice in Compiegne November 11 1918. This day celebrated Polish patriots.
