On behalf of the Board, I’m pleased to welcome to you to our much-loved festival, Grampians Grape Escape.
It’s been a big month already with our partner events proving popular and a great lead up to this weekend, where we will continue to celebrate the end of vintage with plenty of food, music and a few beverages.
Be sure to get to a demonstration by guest chefs, Paul West and Matt Sinclair; enjoy an exhibitor masterclass and partake in the auctioning of the Barrique, an important fundraiser for the Grampians Winemakers.
We wish you a most enjoyable time in the beautiful Grampians region, and thank you for your support.
Kevin Erwin
Chairman, Grampians Grape Escape Inc
Welcome to the 27th edition of Victoria’s longest running food and wine festival, Grampians Grape Escape.
This wonderful event showcases the region’s world class wine crafted from some of Victoria’s oldest vines as well as the best of local produce framed by the stunning backdrop of the Grampians National Park.
In a testament to its popularity, last year’s event saw 8000 visitors joining in for the festival’s masterclasses, tastings, entertainment and family activities.
This year foodies, families and international visitors will be able to graze and drink their way through over 120 of Western Victoria’s best producers.
The Victorian Government is proud to support the festival through the $20 million Regional Events Fund. The Fund is helping regional communities to secure and stage events that drive visitation and showcase the best of everything the regions have to offer.
I hope you enjoy the best of the festival during your stay in the Grampians and encourage you to experience the fantastic attractions in the region.
The Hon. Minister John ErenMinister for Tourism and Major Events
