What a privilege it is to lead Abraham House. Every day I see our mission in action with our caregivers providing such loving care to our guests. At Abraham House we uphold the sacred privilege to ensure our guests die with compassion and dignity. Where else can you receive such loving one-to-one care except in your own home? Abraham House is truly the "next best thing to home". Abraham House is the only "Comfort House" in 3-4 counties for the past 16 years, so it is very unique to our community. If you believe in the mission of Abraham House and recognize that what we do has such an important impact on our guests and their families, we ask that you consider supporting us financially. Your financial support will allow Abraham House to continue our mission. There are many ways to support us: direct monetary gifts, memorial gifts in memory of a loved one, charitable remainder trusts, bequests through your will, naming Abraham House as your beneficiary of your retirement fund or life insurance policy, an immediate gift of a paid up life insurance policy and/or gifts of securities that have appreciated in value. Please consult your financial advisors. Please feel free to talk with me as well to see how you can help us continue our mission. Thank you very much. "What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us. What we have done for others and the world, remains and is immortal". Albert Pike

What People are Saying:

"Thank you for taking care of my grandfather and making me feel comfortable too. My grandpa always wanted to be home and not in a nursing home. I thank God for the Abraham House for it was like he was home." "Thank you for the wonderful care and kind attention shown to my dad. This community is very fortunate to have a home such as Abraham House staffed by caring individuals who give of themselves in the ways that you all do." "We will never forget you and he thought the world of you". "You were all so caring and thoughtful. I never knew that there was a great place for someone on comfort care. I also want to thank you all for helping me during this difficult time and being so supportive."

Just like hummingbirds, with the magical whisper of their wings, there is something in our soul that wants to hover at beautiful moments in our lives, making them freeze in time. There is something in us that wants to fly backwards and savor once more the beautiful past. The hummingbird is the messenger of these beautiful moments. We at Abraham House embrace the hummingbird for never losing faith and reminding us of those moments we all want to savor.
