GREETINGS! This is the year to celebrate at the Walt Disney World® Resort, and I am so glad you chose to spend time at Epcot® for one of our most highly-anticipated events, the International Flower & Garden Festival. The theme of this year’s

festival is “Celebrate Springtime.”

This year, we’d like to welcome to our festival a new presenting sponsor, Disneynature. In the great tradition established by Walt Disney himself, Disneynature is a new film label that offers spectacular entertainment about the world in which we live. The first film in the series, Earth will tell the remarkable story of three animal families and their amazing journey across the planet we all call home. Look for Disneynature throughout the festival today and the film Earth to open in theatres nationwide on Earth Day, April 22.

Now in its sixteenth year, our spring festival continues to delight, excite and amaze guests from all walks of life. This year’s festival features the most topiaries we’ve ever had in the park. For 75 fun-filled days, Epcot® comes to life with some of your favorite Disney characters in rare topiary form throughout Future World and World Showcase.

Your journey begins at the front entrance of the park as we celebrate Cinderella’s grand coronation along with her royal court at our “Cinderellabration” garden. In addition to all of the exciting things to do throughout Epcot®, kids will enjoy our Pirates Adventure Zone, where they have the freedom to explore and create their own magic. As you make your way to World Showcase, catch a glimpse of our stunning floral arrangements floating peacefully along the east and west concourses.

Back by popular demand for guests of all ages is Minnie’s Magnificent Butterfly Garden. Be sure to stop by to see hundreds of free-flying butterflies as you venture through lush foliage inside a mesmerizing butterfly house.

Relax and unwind at our Flower Power Concert Series on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at America Gardens Theatre. The nostalgia of the 60s and 70s returns with an outstanding lineup of hitmakers.

Whether you are celebrating your first visit or a personal milestone, I hope that you have an amazing experience and one that you will cherish for many years to come.

Thanks for celebrating with us,

Dan Cockerell, Vice President, Epcot®
