Strategies

Counseling Transportation to Counseling Soccer Program Recruit people for LMC Programs

Chosen Strategy

Recruiting people for specific programs within a community college will help support people who have lost parents due to violent crimes Free counseling! Can make a soccer program within LMC (we

are!) Satisfies needs Easy to implement Inexpensive Adequate resources available

Closing Comments

We interviewed 97 people who had lost parents due to violent crime

We found that family support doesn’t help with anger, counseling does, but people don’t go to counseling

We suggest recruiting 20-30 year olds into programs at Community Colleges
