Rabbi’s Message

Baby Moshe ends up floating in a specially engineered basket in the bulrushes of the Nile

River. Pharaoh’s daughter goes down to bathe in the river and “sees a child, and behold he was a weeping lad”! Interesting – you would thinkותראהו את הילד והנה נער בוכה. that mention would be made to the sound of the voice of the crying baby. But this was not any baby, it was Moshe Rabenu on whose angelic face was engraved the hopes and aspiration of his nation. This unusual “look” caught her eye to the point she took the baby home to raise as her own. Crying, any baby can cry – but that look- was unique to Moshe!
