H E A L I N G

People everywhere, Christians and non-Christians alike, are interested in being healthy their entire lives if at all possible.At the writing of this Booklet there is a huge industry where people worldwide are focusing on doing what they can to prevent sickness and disease. However many of the options being made available can get very expensive. In many countries people are not able to afford to use natural means to stay healthy or even if they did the products are not available for purchase. So the idea of being able to stay healthy through supernatural means is very appealing. In many religions and belief systems they teach about experiencing healing from supernatural forces. This Booklet is being written about Healing in the Christian faith according to the Holy Bible. We will include examples from both the Old and New Testaments. We will use the New King James Version of the Bible when quoting Scriptures unless identified otherwise.

God Desires To Heal Us Every TimeThe Bible makes many references to God healing people in the Old and New Testaments. We plan to show with Scriptures that it is always God’s desire to provide healing to people. Through the brutal price that Christ paid we have not only reconciliation to God our Father but we also have access to His healing power. In the Bible there are no preconditions that are mandated before God will heal you. It does not matter if you are ill because of wrong choices you made in your life. It does not matter if you have accepted Christ or not. The Bible says that you receive healing, or any other promise, from God by believing on Christ and believing His Word.


Some Doctrinal Errors About HealingDoes God Use Sickness To Teach Us Things?

Some Christian ministers teach that God chooses who He will heal and when He will heal. They also teach that God will make us sick (or puts sickness on us) in order to teach us something. They rarely, if ever, say what God is trying to teach nor do they use the Bible to support what they are saying. They have come to this conclusion because they prayed for people to be healed and they were not healed. They usually add “if it be thy will” when praying for healing.As you study the New Testament Scriptures related to healing or being made whole you will clearly see that Jesus never refused to heal anyone who came to Him requesting healing. There is the story in the gospels about a leper who came to Jesus bowing down in worship that asked “Lord, if you are willing, You can make me clean”. This is the only place where someone asked if it was His will to heal. Jesus answered Yes and the leper was made clean.

Is Healing For Today?

Some Christian ministers teach that all supernatural manifestations that occurred in the Bible ceased with the Apostles when the writing of the Bible was completed. These people believe that any supernatural manifestation that happens today is from satan. They also use this reasoning when it comes to praying in tongues. If you read the Bible there is nothing that says that it was God’s plan for any of His supernatural blessings to us to cease. If you check this carefully you will see that the only thing that stops the Lord from being able to heal like He desires to is unbelief. You see this clearly in the following passage of Scripture where Jesus was rejected by the people in his hometown.


Mark 6: 1-6

1 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. 2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! 3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him. 4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

If I Do Not Tithe Can I Lose My Healing?

Some Christian ministers have the utter gall to tell vulnerable sick people that they have been cursed by God and may have lost their healing if they were not tithing because they were thieves. One of the authors of this Booklet actually heard recently this on a TV program of a known healing evangelist who had a hireling called a minister of the gospel as a guest.The tithe was under the Law that we are no longer under. We as Christians are only required to give what we have in our hearts to give. We are not to give under compulsion or threat of reprisals as hirelings or extortionists tell you to do. The main reason that people lose their healing is that they do not understand that satan their enemy will try and put those symptoms back on them. If you resist those attacks those symptoms will eventually leave. It may take time as you build your faith for healing. James 5:7 says that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil he will flee from you. This scripture is true in any context where satan is trying to stop you from walking in what you have in Christ.

Methods of Healing in the BibleShould a Christian go to a Doctor for Treatment?

In times past many preachers taught that people should trust in God and God alone for their healing. Going to a doctor showed that they were not trusting God alone for their healing. There was a sincerity in them teaching this. A lot of the known medical treatments during those times were quite harmful and they wanted to save lives. They also taught to the level of the revelation that had been revealed about the healing Scriptures.However there is nothing in the Bible that says that going to a medical professional for treatment is wrong. It is definitely best for a person to believe and receive their healing through God’s healing power but going to a medical professional is definitely a valid option. One of the disciples that travelled with Jesus is Luke who was a physician. It would be reasonable to conclude that Jesus had no problems with physicians or else Luke would not have been chosen to be one of His disciples.


Is Healing Always Instantaneous?

The vast majority of healing incidents in Scripture were instantaneous. However there are a few stories where the healing gradually manifested.

Mark 8: 22-25

22 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. 23 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. 24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” 25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

Here is a story where Jesus apparently prayed twice for the man before the healing completely manifested.Note: Some teachers teach that if you pray more than once for something that the additional prayers are done in unbelief. That is probably true in most cases. However this story is a different situation so we would not make a blanket statement that a second prayer may be unbelief.

Luke 17: 11-19

11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17 So Jesus answered and


said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

You see another example of where healing took place gradually. They were not healed instantly but were healed as they obeyed His instruction to go show themselves to the priests. This story shows that faith in Him will produce healing. Their faith was exercised when they obeyed His instruction.Note: Under the Law it was required for lepers to be checked out by the priests and declared cleansed before they could go back into society. The Law was still in effect until after the resurrection of Christ.

Is It Wrong To Use Natural Things To Be Healed?

Not at all. Natural things can get us well in many cases and keep us healthy. Eating healthy, using vitamin supplements, herbs, etc. are good as you are led by the Holy Spirit to do along with doing due diligence in research and consulting with a physician. Even though the original intent of the dietary laws is no longer in effect, research has found that there are health benefits by following them.Exercising, especially if you have a sedentary life, helps also to keep you healthy and in many cases will help keep you in a better mood. The Bible says:

1 Timothy 4: 8

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.


Read the entire Verse carefully, it does not say that exercise has no profit but it says that in comparison to godliness exercise does indeed profit a little. One example in the Bible where a natural solution was given is found here:

1 Timothy 5: 23

No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.

The Apostle Paul was giving advice as a father in the faith to his spiritual son Timothy. It appears that Timothy had stomach problems and regular infirmities. You would think that Paul would have just laid hands on Timothy to heal him. However he told Timothy to drink water and wine (not grape juice) to help with his health problems.It is best that if you have received a supernatural healing from the Lord to do what you can to maintain your health so you will not need healing again. Again the Lord does not require this for you to receive healing. All that is required is to believe the Lord has already healed you. However doing what you know gives satan one less thing to harass your mind with. Satan will use your past behavior as a weapon to hinder your faith in the finished work of Christ regarding provision of healing to you.Our goal and your goal should be to never need the medical profession.

In this chapter we will list a few examples where God healed people in the Old Testament. Remember that no one was born again at this time because Jesus Christ had not paid the brutal price for our reconciliation to God our Father and for our healing. God was doing what He could to reach out to mankind.

Naaman’s Leprosy Healed2 Kings 5: 1-14

1 Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper. 2 And the Syrians had gone out on raids, and had brought back captive a young girl from the land of Israel. She waited on Naaman’s wife. 3 Then she said to her mistress, “If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy.” 4 And Naaman went in and told his master, saying, “Thus and thus said the girl who is from the land of Israel.” 5 Then the king of Syria said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing. 6 Then he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which said, Now be advised, when this letter comes to you, that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy. 7 And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me.” 8 So it was, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Please let him come to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.” 9 Then Naaman went with his horses and chariot, and


he stood at the door of Elisha’s house. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.” 11 But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’ 12 Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?” 14 So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Here is an example of a situation where the person would not have been healed had they not decided to humble themselves and obey the instruction from the Lord.

King Hezekiah’s Life Extended2 Kings 20: 1-11

1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’” 2 Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3 “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 5 “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the


God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. 6 And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” 7 Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered. 8 And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What is the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?” 9 Then Isaiah said, “This is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?” 10 And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees.” 11 So Isaiah the prophet cried out to the Lord, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.

Here is an example of where God reached out to King Hezekiah when Isaiah the prophet said that his life was over. Apparently God changed his mind and allowed him 15 more years. He confirmed the promise with signs he could naturally see. Remember he did not have a new nature as every born again Christian has. This was the only way he could communicate with God, that is, through the prophet. God was gracious to him and answered his prayer for healing.


Elijah Revives the Widow’s Son1 Kings 17: 17-24

17 Now it happened after these things that the son of the woman who owned the house became sick. And his sickness was so serious that there was no breath left in him. 18 So she said to Elijah, “What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to kill my son?” 19 And he said to her, “Give me your son.” So he took him out of her arms and carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his own bed. 20 Then he cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, have You also brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge, by killing her son?” 21 And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.” 22 Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived. 23 And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house, and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said, “See, your son lives!” 24 Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth.” In this example the widow who believed the prophet Elijah (as the voice of God) for her necessities of life during a famine, reached out to him when her son became gravely ill. He prayed and asked God to give to the boy life again. God raised the boy up. As God healed the widow’s son when she reached out to God, He will also heal us when we reach out in faith in the finished work provided by Christ.


In this example the widow who believed the prophet Elijah (as the voice of God) for her necessities of life during a famine, reached out to him when her son became gravely ill. He prayed and asked God to give to the boy life again. God raised the boy up. As God healed the widow’s son when she reached out to God, He will also heal us when we reach out in faith in the finished work provided by Christ.

There are so many examples from the New Testament that we could list here. However we will list a few in different categories. Remember that again no one was born again at this time because Jesus Christ had not paid the brutal price for our reconciliation to God our Father and for our healing. Jesus was the manifestation of the heart of God the Father.

Jesus Healed All The SickMatthew 14: 14

And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Peter’s Mother-in-Law HealedLuke 4: 38-39

38 Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. 39 So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.

Many Healed After Sabbath SunsetLuke 4: 40

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.


Jesus Forgives and Heals a ParalyticLuke 5: 17-26

17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 18 Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. 20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!”

You see that Jesus always healed those that came to Him. He never delayed healing to anyone. He always immediately healed those where He found faith (as said earlier, some healing manifested gradually). He reached out to the sick with healing like a waiter would serve up food that one would order in a restaurant. Really think and meditate on these examples (and find your own in the Word


of God). You will be convinced beyond doubt that His heart (and the heart of God the Father) is for your healing and for the healing of all who come to Him in faith.The one thing that we feel is so precious is the fact that if you think about it all the people that Jesus healed were not born again. He had not paid the brutal price for the reconciliation of mankind to God the Father. All of them were unsaved. This is clear proof that God will heal anyone with faith, not just those in the family of God. What love that shows for us all.

The scriptures that we have included in this chapter includes scriptures that promise healing for God’s people. It also includes scriptures from the New Testament that show that each disciple of Christ has the power to minister healing to others.

Old TestamentExodus 23: 25-26

25 So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. 26 No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

Psalm 103: 1-5

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 107: 20

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

Psalm 147: 3

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Healing Scriptures

Isaiah 53: 5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Malachi 4: 2

But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

New TestamentActs 10: 38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

James 5: 16

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

1 Peter 2: 24

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

3 John 1: 2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

The Power We Have To Heal OthersThe following scripture references reveal the power that Jesus has given us regarding ministering in His name to see others healed and set free.

Matthew 10: 1

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

Mark 16: 15-18

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

John 14: 12-14

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.


The Power Of Your WordsThe following scripture references show that when we speak words or pray prayers of faith that we can literally receive what we say.

John 16: 23-24

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Mark 11: 22-24

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Think about these two examples to hopefully make this clear.If you have completed elementary school you probably remember when you took a mathematics class and learned how to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Here in the USA the teachers used what they called arithmetic tables where a student would memorize addition, subtraction, multiplication and division equations by repeating them often. At some point they became a part of your memory. Hopefully today if you need to multiply something for example you do not have to think about the equation. You know that 2 multiplied by 3 is always 6.


If you are a Christian you spoke words stating that you believed in Christ and wanted Christ to be the Lord of your life. Someone probably told you that you would go to heaven when you died. When you made the decision to become a disciple of Christ something on the inside of you changed and you knew that your life would never be the same. You do not have any doubt about this wonderful promise of the Lord. You accept this as a fact and base your life on it.As in these previous examples you began to believe what you focused on and you live by those principles. The same will happen as you build your faith in healing (and other promises from God) as you speak them.

This chapter will give examples on how to personalize the healing Verses that we mentioned in the Healing Scriptures chapter. These are just examples. As you read these Verses (or others you might find) the Holy Spirit may give you the wording to use where it really ministers to your spirit. We also suggest that you include the nature of your affliction in your confessions if it has been diagnosed by the medical profession.

From the Old TestamentExodus 23: 25-26

As I serve the Lord my God, He blesses my bread and water. Sickness stays away from me. I will not shall suffer miscarriage or be barren; God will fulfill the number of my days.

You can use the examples that we have included in this chapter. However it may be good to just use this as a starting point and write your own from your heart and relationship from the Lord. The point of taking the time to do this is to help you focus on His promise of healing for you and those you love.

The Will of God is to heal you.

What God said yesterday, and is recorded in the Old Testament and New Testament, is also what God says to you now.

NOTE: The personalization texts below are taken from the King James Bible with some changes to make them apply to you and make them easy to read.

101 THINGS GOD SAID

God said in the Old Testament1. Your days shall be one hundred and twenty years (Genesis 6:3).2. You shall be buried in a good old age (Genesis 15:15).3. When I see the blood, I will pass over you and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you

(Exodus 12:13).4. I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).5. I will take sickness away from the midst of you and the number of your days I will fulfill (Exodus

23: 25, 26).6. I will not put any of the diseases you are afraid of on you, but I will take all sickness away from

you (Deuteronomy 7:15).

Healing 101

7. It will be well with you and your days shall be multiplied and prolonged as the days of heaven upon the earth (Deuteronomy 11:9,21).

8. I turned the curse into a blessing unto you, because I loved you (Deuteronomy 23:5 and Nehemiah 13:2).

9. I have redeemed you from every sickness and every plague (Deuteronomy 28:61 and Gal. 3:13).

10. As your days, so shall your strength be (Deuteronomy 33:25).11. You shall come to your grave in a full age like as a shock of corn cometh in his season (Job

5:26).12. I have found a ransom for you, your flesh shall be fresher than a child’s and you shall return to

the days of your youth (Job 33:24, 25).13. I have healed you and brought up your soul from the grave; I have kept you alive from going

down into the pit (Psalms 30:1, 2).14. I will give you strength and bless you with peace (Psalms 29:11).15. I will preserve you and keep you alive (Psalms 41:2).16. I will strengthen you upon the bed of languishing; I will turn all your bed in your sickness

(Psalms 41:3).17. I am the health of your countenance and your God (Psalms43: 5).18. No plague shall come near your dwelling (Psalms 91:10).19. I will satisfy you with long life (Psalms 91:16).

Healing 101

20. I heal all your diseases (Psalms 103:3).21. I sent My word and healed you and delivered you from your destructions (Psalms 107:20).22. You shall not die, but live, and declare My works (Psalms 118:17).23. I heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds (Psalms 147:3).24. The years of your life shall be many (Proverbs 4:10).25. Trusting Me brings health to your navel and marrow to your bones (Proverbs 3:8).26. My words are life to you, and health/medicine to all your flesh (Proverbs 4:22).27. (My) good report makes your bones fat (Proverbs 15:30).28. (My) pleasant words are sweet to your soul and health to your bones (Proverbs 16:24).29. My joy is your strength. A merry heart does good like a medicine (Nehemiah 8:10; Proverbs

17:22).30. The eyes of the blind shall be opened. The eyes of them that see shall not be dim (Isaiah 32:3;

35:5).31. The ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. The ears of them that hear shall hearken (Isaiah 32:3;

35:5).32. The tongue of the dumb shall sing. The tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak

plainly (Isaiah 35:6; 32:4).33. The lame man shall leap as a hart (Isaiah 35:6).34. I will recover you and make you to live. I am ready to save you (Isaiah 38:16, 20).35. I give power to the faint. I increase strength to them that have no might (Isaiah 40:29).

Healing 101

36. I will renew your strength. I will strengthen and help you (Isaiah 40:31; 41:10).37. To your old age and gray hairs I will carry you and I will deliver you (Isaiah 46:4).38. I bore your sickness (Isaiah 53:4).39. I carried your pains (Isaiah 53:4).40. I was put to sickness for you (Isaiah 53:10).41. With My stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).42. I will heal you (Isaiah 57:19).43. Your light shall break forth as the morning and your health shall spring forth speedily (Isaiah

58:8).44. I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds saith the Lord (Jeremiah

30:17).45. Behold I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure you, and will reveal unto you the

abundance of peace and truth (Jeremiah 33:6).46. I will bind up that which was broken and will strengthen that which was sick (Ezekiel 34:16).47. Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live. And I shall put My Spirit in you

and you shall live (Ezekiel 37:5,14)48. Whithersoever the rivers shall come shall live. They shall be healed and every thing shall live

where the river comes (Ezekiel 47:9).49. Seek Me and you shall live (Amos 5:4, 6).50. I have arisen with healing in My wings (beams) (Malachi 4:2).

Healing 101

God Said in the New Testament51. I will, be thou clean (Matthew 8:3).52. I took your infirmities (Matthew 8:17).53. I bore your sicknesses (Matthew 8:17).54. If you’re sick you need a physician. (I am the Lord your physician) (Matthew 9:12 & Exodus

15:26).55. I am moved with compassion toward the sick and I heal them (Matthew 14:14).56. I heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 4:23).57. According to your faith, be it unto you (Matthew 9:29).58. I give you power and authority over all unclean spirits to cast them out, and to heal all manner

of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 10:1 & Luke 9:1).59. I heal them all (Matthew 12:15 & Hebrews 13:8).60. As many as touch Me are made perfectly whole (Matthew 14:36).61. Healing is the children’s bread (Matthew 15:26).62. I do all things well. I make the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak (Mark 7:37).63. If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23; 11:23,24).64. When hands are laid on you, you shall recover (Mark 16:18).65. My anointing heals the brokenhearted, and delivers the captives, recovers sight to the blind,

and sets at liberty those that are bruised (Luke 4:18; Isaiah 10:27; 61:1).

66. I heal all those who have need of healing (Luke 9:11).67. I am not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them (Luke 9:56).68. Behold, I give you authority over all the enemy’s power and nothing shall by any means hurt

you (Luke 10:19).69. Sickness is satanic bondage and you ought to be loosed today (Luke 13:16 & 2 Corinthians

6:2).70. In Me is life (John 1:4).71. I am the bread of life. I give you life (John 6:33, 35).72. The words I speak unto you are spirit and life (John 6:63).73. I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).74. I am the resurrection and the life (John 11:25).75. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:14).76. Faith in My name makes you strong and gives you perfect soundness (Acts 3:16).77. I stretch forth My hand to heal (Acts 4:30).78. I, Jesus Christ, make you whole (Acts 9:34).79. I do good and heal all that are oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38).80. My power causes diseases to depart from you (Acts 19:12).81. The law of the Spirit of life in Me has made you free from the law of sin and death (Romans

8:2).

Healing 101

82. The same Spirit that raised Me from the dead now lives in you and that Spirit will quicken your mortal body (Romans 8:11).

83. Your body is a member of Me (1 Corinthians 6:15).84. Your body is the temple of My Spirit and you’re to glorify Me in your body (1 Corinthians 6:19,

20).85. If you’ll rightly discern My body which was broken for you, and judge yourself, you’ll not be

judged and you’ll not be weak, sickly or die prematurely (1 Corinthians 11:29-31).86. I have set gifts of healing in My body (1 Corinthians 12:9).87. My life may be made manifest in your mortal flesh (2 Corinthians 4:10, 11).88. I have delivered you from death, I do deliver you, and if you trust Me I will yet deliver you (2

Corinthians 1:10).89. I have given you My name and have put all things under your feet (Ephesians 1:21, 22).90. I want it to be well with you and I want you to live long on the earth. (Ephesians 6:3).91. I have delivered you from the authority of darkness (Colossians 1:13).92. I will deliver you from every evil work (2 Timothy 4:18).93. I tasted death for you. I destroyed the devil who had the power of death. I’ve delivered you

from the fear of death and bondage (Hebrews 2:9, 14, 15).94. I wash your body with pure water (Hebrews 10:22; Ephesians 5:26).95. Lift up the weak hands and the feeble knees. Don’t let that which is lame be turned aside but

rather let Me heal it (Hebrews 12:12, 13).

96. Let the elders anoint you and pray for you in My name and I will raise you up (James 5:14, 15).97. Pray for one another and I will heal you (James 5:16).98. By My stripes you were healed (1 Peter 2:24).99. My Divine power has given unto you all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the

knowledge of Me (2 Peter 1:3).100. Beloved, I wish above all things that you may…be in health (3 John 2).101. Whosoever will let him come and take of the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17).
