January saw the launch of our inaugural Feeding Dreams Charity Challenge and we are proud to an-
nounce it was a HUGE success! From everybody at Feeding Dreams Cambodia we want to thank each
and every amazing person who took part in our 2020 FDC Charity Challenge and for raising vital funds to
support the future of our school. Enormous fun was had by all participants, some have even signed up
for next years 1 week challenge in Cambodia!

We listened, and back by popular demand is our
COAST TO ANGKOR—FDC CHARITY BIKE RIDE
This experience will run from the 11th to the 21st of Janu-
ary, 2021. Covering over 650km’s of the Kingdom of Won-
der. It will see FDC supporters coming together and riding
from the South of Cambodia, up to Phnom Penh, along the
Mekong River and ultimately through the gates of Feeding
Dreams, Siem Reap. Riders will see Cambodia in a way
like never before, we will travel through rural villages and
over land untouched by tourists. This shared journey will
help to bring to life just how valuable our programs are for
the future of the impoverished people of Cambodia.
Do you want to step outside the realm of monotonous day-
to-day life? Why not commit to a life-saving charity chal-
lenge that will ground you, test you, and put into perspec-
tive what’s truly important in life. Join like-minded individu-
als on a bucket-list adventure across the exotic Kingdom
of Wonder, in support of our 1,000 impoverished children
and their families at Feeding Dreams Cambodia.

DREAMS TRAINING CENTRE GRADUATION DAY
Congratulations!!
The 14th of January 2020 saw our 5th intake of Hospitality students graduate. Words cannot express
just how proud we are of all these youths!
ALL 60 of our graduates have gained full-time employment in fair paying jobs in the hospitality sector
within Siem Reap, paving the way to a bright and positive future.
Considering the hardships and struggles which they have overcome to be here today, they are an inspira-
tion to all impoverished children and youths in Cambodia.

Y.E.S FOOTBALL ACADEMY NEWS
At Feeding Dreams’ YES Football Academy we had an incredibly busy and successful 2019. Between January
2019 and January 2020, we competed in a total of five competitions in which we reached the knockout stages
of each one. Our best result was reaching the Quarter Final of the Tiger Street Football Tournament which had a
total of 118 teams. The seven boys in that team were lucky enough to compete in the National Finals in Phnom
Penh and represented the team with great joy.
We’re currently providing training sessions to over 150 underprivileged youths for eight hours a week and pre-
paring for more upcoming tournaments later this month and next. The improvement in the ability of all the play-
ers is clear to see, and many of them have now joined the first team squad at Siem Reap FC. Since opening the
Academy, three of our players are now full time professional footballers and receive a salary which enables
them to support their families.
Through our training sessions and mentoring, our youths have become much stronger and have developed high-
er self-esteem and belief in themselves. They are taught the importance of regular physical education and also
the benefits of healthy eating and personal hygiene. Having good quality clothes to wear, including on the foot-
ball field, is an important part of this and thanks to a generous donation from Ardmore….our students are wear-
ing their new football kits from ARDMORE with pride!
BREAKING NEWS!!
Lorn LA from our FDC YES Academy has been selected to join the
Cambodian National under 19 team !
He will be paid a fair wage and get to travel to many Asian coun-
tries to play professionally for Cambodia. What an exciting and
life changing future for him.

than ready to face the games ahead this year.

Our YES Academy has benefitted greatly from the support of Ardmore Construction Group in London. With their support,
we now have kits, boots and balls for all our kids. The YES Academy brings so much joy to our students and we are de-
lighted to have received corporate contributions towards the program.
In addition, We would like to thank the team from Ardmore Group for taking part in the “Tough Runner” race on Satur-
day 7th September. The gruelling 10KM run through London's Finsbury Park raised £1,300. Congratulations to every-
one on completing the race and thank you Ardmore for supporting our Y.E.S Academy football program.

OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS
At FDC we have a steady stream of volunteers coming through our
doors, individuals, families and school groups. They each contribute
in their own way, in all departments throughout the school; teaching,
building, admin and community support.
Huge thanks to our Volunteer Manager Roeun Thoeun, who
coordinates and looks after all our volunteers, making sure
their experience is a smooth and enjoyable one from begin-
ning to end, whether they are with us for a couple of days or
a few weeks.
We greatly appreciate every volun-
teer that comes to FDC giving up
their valuable time and sharing
their skills with us and the children.
