    Concession in Registration Fee / Examination Fee

    for Physically Handicapped & SC / ST StudentsAs a social welfare measure, the Council of The Institute has decided to grant further concession inRegistration Fee / Examination Fee to physically handicapped as per details given below :

    Registration Fee for Physically Handicapped & SC / ST Students -

    Stage Registration Fee for PhysicallyHandicapped Students

    Registration Fee For SC / STStudents

    Foundation Programme Only Registration Fee will becharged (At present, RegistrationFee is Rs.1500)

    (50%) of Total Fees applicable togeneral candidates. (Rs. 2250/-)

    Executive Programme Only Registration Fee will becharged (At present, RegistrationFee is Rs.2000)

    (50%) of Total Fees applicable togeneral candidates.(Commerce Rs. 4500/-& Non-Commerce Rs. 5000/-)

    Professional Programme Only Registration Fee will becharged (At present, RegistrationFee is NIL)

    (50%) of Total Fees applicable togeneral candidates. (Rs. 6000/-)

    The above concession would be granted subject to the following guidelines : -

    (i) The concerned students should submit a certificate issued by a Physician / Surgeon/ Oculistworking in a State/ Central Government to the effect of permanent physical disability (includingblindness).

    (ii) The following shall be regarded as permanent physical disability :-(a) permanent physical disability of more than 50% in one limb; or(b) permanent physical disability of more than 60% in two or more limbs; or(c) permanent deafness with hearing impairment of 70 decibels and above; or(d) permanent and total loss of voice.

    (iii) Blindness shall be regarded as permanent physical disability, if it is incurable and falls in any ofthe categories specified namely : -

    - 6/60 to 1/60or field of vision 110-2

    - 3/60 to 1/60or field of vision 100

    - FC at 1 foot to Nilor field of vision 100

    - Total absence of sightIt is clarified that all other services shall be available on full payment basis as applicable to general

    category students.
