maintenance on tactical utility, precise power generation sets, internal combustion engines, and
associated items of equipment as a Power Generation Systems Mechanic stationed in Korea and
Fort Hood, TX over a three year period.
Conducted scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as the unit's only generator mechanic
on over 50 generators and 13 DRASH (Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter) systems
while ensuring an operational readiness rate of 98 percent.
Completed over 50 maintenance work orders and over 170 services on generators along
with maintaining and filing paperwork; resulting in a mission readiness rate of 95 percent
or higher.
