Thank you so very, very much for taking the time to read this letter. It is for the Work of God, and there is nothing more important than that.

Before I give you the real reason for writing, let me mention that just a few days ago we had three Russian translators here at the Ministry as it regards the upcoming Russian translation of all the programming 24 hours a day/7 days a week into Russian. As I dictate this letter I have no idea if they will be the ones to do this or not; however, irrespective, we will begin very, very shortly with whomever the Lord chooses.

Also, I wish to thank you so very much, and I speak of your participated in making it possible for thousands of Russian Pastors to have a copy of THE EXPOSITOR’S STUDY BIBLE. In fact, I do not know of a Missions work in the world today that’s more important than that. Again, thank you for making it possible. We still have a long way to go to cover that vast land, but by the Grace of God we will do it.

I want to thank you so much for the help that you have given us as it regards the new Telephone System, which we are presently installing. Let me give you a little more information.

This System will cover the entirety of the world, and we have scores of people from all over the world calling constantly – day and night. That’s our business. Some of these people want to

give their hearts to Christ. Others are discouraged and just need someone to say a kind word to them. Watching us constantly over Television they have a feeling in their heart, which we want them to have, that they know us. With many people we are almost like family, and I’m very, very glad for that. So, this Telephone System is not merely something that we can use -- it’s something that we have to have.

IN MY LAST LETTER WE ASKED FOR HELP FOR THIS SYSTEM, AND I’M EMBARRASSED TO SAY HOW LITTLE WE DID RECEIVE.

The cost for this system is $450,000. Now that’s a lot of money, but if everyone who is blessed by SonLife Television, SonLife Radio, and the SonLife Internet will do what you can do, whatever that might be, the need will be met.

And, incidentally, the number of calls now is approximately three times what they were this time last year. In fact, our present system is grossly overloaded, and over and over again we have to rob Peter to pay Paul so to speak.
