Eugene Onegin, Lyric Opera Wednesday, March 1 11:00 am $120 Members only Intensely passionate drama set to some of opera’s most sweeping, soulful, and heartstoppingly beautiful music — that is Eugene Onegin. Here is Pushkin’s profoundly human, hopelessly romantic, ultimately devastating story, elevated by Tchaikovsky’s richly layered and unabashedly expressive music. Find out why Eugene Onegin is beloved by opera audiences the world over. Lunch at 312 Chicago. Have your own ticket? Ask about a seat on the bus. (Minimal walking)

It is with a mixture of sadness and love that we commemorate Margaret Lindman. Margaret, former president, and director of the Lake Forest Lake Bluff Senior

Citizen’s Foundation, passed on October 22, 2016. Before her early work, directing and raising funds to create the Senior Center, Margaret wore many hats.

She began as an elementary school teacher in Mt. Prospect. After she and her husband, Richard, moved to Lake Bluff in 1955, Margaret taught at Lake Bluff East

School and at Lake Bluff Middle School. Later, after receiving her doctorate in Education Administration, she became a professor of education at Northeastern

University. In the 1960’s Margaret had a television program on WTTW called “Just Imagine” which featured storytelling to children by using puppets. We will

miss Margaret and her amazing wit which was with her until the very end.
