Our Catholic Appeal is an annual opportunity for every member of our faith family to support the life-changing work of the Diocese of Orlando. Did you know…? Your gifts to Our Catholic Appeal help others to encounter Christ.

The Diocese of Orlando facilitates the Church’s mission to evangelize – to “go and make disci-ples of all nations” (Mt. 28:19). As a result of your gifts to Our Catholic Appeal, our diocese is able to offer catechetical ministry support to parishes with the aim of fostering mature disciple-ship and promoting vibrant communities of faith.

EDGE & LIFE TEEN—Jr and Sr high school teens meet at 6pm in Emmaus Hall Sunday, February 25. Invite your friends to come!

SAINTS & VIRTUES—St. Joseph teaches us about diligence this month. Doing your best and working hard until you’re finished! All ages. February 28, 5-6pm, Emmaus Hall.

BIBLE STUDY—Groups resume this week for Session 5, Monday night February 26 and Thursday morning, March 1.

FAMILY FORMATION—The next monthly ses-sion is Sunday, March 4, at 12:30pm in the chapel.

DIOCESE & COMMUNITY EVENTS

OUR CATHOLIC APPEAL—The envelopes are rolling in, but we know there’s some regis-tered parishioners who might be thinking their participation isn’t needed! Or maybe you know someone who hasn’t been to Mass in a few weeks due to illness and don’t know

about the OCA pledge campaign. Give them a call to ask how they’re feeling. Ask if they need more information about the participation goal. Our goal is to do better than 76% participation this year. Father Andrew always jokes “Winning isn’t everything… it’s the only thing!” If you’ve al-ready turned in your OCA envelope, thanks! Let’s get this done ASAP!

TIME FOR A GET-AWAY WEEKEND?—Do you need a vacation? Give yourself and your spouse time away from the pressures of work and everyday responsibilities. Enjoy a chance to talk & listen to that special someone who loves you! Enrich your relationship by attending a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend. The next weekend in the diocese is March 2-4. For details or to reserve your spot, visit wwme.org or call Bob & Sheila Baker, (407) 647-4289.

LIVE IN MY LOVE—Join Bishop Felipe Estévez of the Diocese of St Augustine & Bishop John Noonan in this celebration of faith. There are speakers & programs for everyone—children and teens to adults. The Florida Eucharistic Congress is Friday through-Saturday, March 16-17, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, 1000 Water St, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Complimentary bus transportation will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis for Saturday, March 17 from various locations in the Diocese of Orlando. Free admission. For detailed information, schedule, and/or hotel reservations, visit FloridaEucharist.org.

ADOPTION, THE LOVING OPTION—For the life of your precious baby, consider adoption! Catholic Charities can help. Adoption counselors from Catholic Charities of Central Florida help birth mothers who are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy & are seeking life for their child. We provide caring, nonjudgmental & loving support to educate birth mothers about the adoption process and to honor their requests regarding the many options that are available for open & closed adoptions. Our adoption counselors are licensed counselors with extensive training on the adoption process. We travel throughout the nine counties of Central Florida. For more infor-mation, call (866) 973-8638 or visit http://ccadoptfl.org/.
