THE HARD HAT HERALD
As material for the
construction of our
building, I pledge
the agility of my
hands, the ability of
my mind, and the in-
tegrity of my heart.
FEBRUARY 2016
…The experience of women starts to diverge from that of their male peers: Less opportunity for professional growth. Unintended performance bias and softer feedback. Fewer sponsors offering fewer opportunities and less advocacy. Lowered ambition. Greater satis-faction with staying put. Attrition and a fresh start at a different com-pany. - Lareina Yee
WITH THE HOLIDAYS BEHIND US AND THE NEW YEAR AHEAD WE
HAVE A LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO AS A CHAPTER. I AM HAPPY TO
ANNOUNCE OUR NEW SCHEDULE OF EVENTS, SPEAKERS AND MOST
IMPROTANTLY OUR LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER LOCAL AND
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. I ASK THAT EVERYONE KEEP AN
OPEN MIND, SPREAD THE WORD OF OUR CHAPTER, READ AN-
NOUNCEMENTS AND PARTICIPATE IN ANY WAY YOU CAN!
