We would like to thank everyone for a great start to our first season at Corkscrew Shores! This month

will be marked with many new and exciting changes and activities at your Club House. We will be

featuring a new and innovative menu at the Captain’s Club that will include an extensive wine selec-

tion. Every Thursday Night in February the Captain’s Club will be hosting Burger & Pub Nights– a

weekly dinning event featuring “Build your own Burger” and drink specials. The Captain’s Club will

also be hosting a Super Bowl Sunday party as well as a Valentine’s Day dinner, both featuring an

exclusive menu.

The next time you enter the Clubhouse you may notice our new Bulletin Board located in the

Lobby. The bulletin board will be a specific area where monthly events at the Captain’s Club as well as

community updates will be posted. The HOA website is also available and designed to keep you

updated from the start.

During the first quarter of 2016, our team will continue mowing every-other week, as the growing

habit of the vegetation normally slows down with the cooler and dryer weather patterns. Our

fertilization and pest control division will be applying lawn fertilization applications just before the

month of March. At least three times during this first quarter they will also keep an eye out for lawn

weeds and spot treat as needed with selective herbicide. The lawn service will also spot treat as needed

any insects we may see in the lawn and or shrubs during our inspections. If you notice anything that

needs to be addressed, please place a work order online at www.corkscrewshoreshoa.com!
