Distinguished Speaker Series presents Erica Miner: Confessions of A Met Opera Violinist Former Metropolitan Opera violinist turned author and lecturer, Erica Miner, recounts her journey from her childhood as a fledgling violin stu-dent to her 21 years at the Met. Highlighting her experiences with lead-ing Met Opera stars such as Placido Domingo and Beverly Sills, and her work with great maestros like Leonard Bernstein and James Levine, she will then answer questions related to opera and legendary opera giants who have graced the Met stage, and discuss the background of her Met Opera-based novel, Murder In The Pit. Senior Dating Boot Camp: How to Start the Conversation On a Date Description; ever gone on a date and experi-ence an awkward silence? Dinner Dance with the Little Big Band
