FRISCO EDC ESTABLISHED 1991

• Frisco voters approved a ½ cent sales tax for economic development

• Frisco Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) was established as a Texas non-profit corporation

• Purpose is the promotion and development of new and expanded business enterprises to provide and encourage employment in the furtherance of the public welfare and expand the tax base of the City of Frisco

Qualifying projects may be offered FEDC economic incentives, which may be on a per job (created and maintained) basis of $500, $1000 or more. Our primary steps will involve:

• Determine Project Eligibility• Submit FEDC Economic Impact Survey• Conduct Economic Impact Analysis• Develop Economic Incentive Proposal • Draft Performance Agreement• Obtain Board Approval
