TWO ANGLES ARE COMPLEMENTARY. ONE MEASURES 38˚ AND THE OTHER MEASURES (4X)˚.

1. Draw a pair of adjacent, complementary angles and label them with the given information.

2. Write an equation to show the relationship between the two angles and solve for the value of x.

3. Find the measures of both angles.

2. 4X + 38 = 90 -38 -38 4X = 52

3. First angle = 38˚ Second angle = 4(13) = 52˚
