    FEATURES OF CONCLUSION

" A logical conclusion that is evident from the development of the ideas in the essay

" A brief summary of the main ideas in the essay

    " Comments on these ideas

" Prediction(s) for the future development of the topic

" Further research that might be required

" Limitation(s) of the work covered by the essay" A reference back to the thesis statement first mentioned in the Introduction

    Analyze the following conclusions.

    Conclusion (1)

The indicators in this report present compelling evidence that the composition of the

atmosphere and many fundamental measures of climate in the United States are changing.

These changes include rising air and water temperatures, more heavy precipitation, and, over

the last several decades, more frequent heat waves and intense Atlantic hurricanes. Assessment

reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the U.S. Global ChangeResearch Program have linked many of these changes to increasing greenhouse gas emissions

from human activities, which are also documented in this report.

Analysis of the indicators presented here suggests that these climate changes are affecting the

environment in ways that are important for society and ecosystems. Sea levels are rising, snow

cover is decreasing, glaciers are melting, and planting zones are shifting. Although the

indicators in this report were developed from some of the most complete data sets currently

available, they represent just a small sample of the growing portfolio of potential indicators.

Considering that future warming projected for the 21st century is very likely to be greater than

observed warming over the past century, indicators of climate change should only become more

    clear, numerous, and compelling.

    Conclusion (2)

In conclusion one can see that poverty and the underclass is a very complex subject. There are

no clear definitions on what poverty is, this creates research problems, thus no solutions on how

to deal with it. This has lead to the creation of an underclass as a way to deal with the situation

or rather avoid dealing with the situation in some peoples opinion. However, many people

including academics believe that the underclass do exist and it is a useful term although they

disagree on what are the causes of the problem, thus, this affects the solutions or policies that

are put into place. Nevertheless there does seem to be a consensus to the fact it is never helpful

to blame the victim and one must take account of the dynamics of poverty.

    Conclusion (3)

In conclusion, education has become a global commodity. This has had a positive effect on

literacy and school attendance rates world wide. As far as tertiary education is concerned,

globalization has made it possible for students to study overseas and by distance education

programs. This has provided more access to tertiary study than before. However, this access is

sometimes provided by organizations that do not necessarily maintain the highest academic

standards. Thus quality has been affected in the tertiary domain. Future research in this area

may need to examine the need for international regulatory bodies to maintain quality outcomes

    for students.
