Welcome Members, Exhibitors and Friends to our 52"‘ Annual Show. This year we arefeaturing Oliver/Hart Parr Tractors and Indiana Built Engines. We hope that the timeyou spend with us is enjoyable as well as memorable. Take time to stop, look and ask
questions from the exhibitors about their display, you will be surprised what you will learn abouthow these old machines helped to transform our living into what it is today. We would not be able to have the show we have if it were not for the volunteers that step upto help, please thank them as you go about the show. Our Officers & Directors put in manyhours during the year to make this the great show that it is. If you have any questions orcomments, please don't hesitate to ask one of them.I personally would like to thank Al Confer & Jack Rouch, both Honorary (Past) Presidents, forall the assistance they have given me, and to Joan Klingel for her tireless efforts on puttingthis show book together and managing the merchandise that she and her volunteers sell atour Red Barn.In December 2016, we lost Honorary (Past) President Ken Doherty. He was President formany years and will be greatly missed.
Thank you for attending our show, Chris Englehardt, President.
A Special “Thanks” to all of our advertising supporters through the years!

AssertivenessA mild-mannered man was tired of being bossed around by his wife; so hewent to a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist said he needed to build his self-es-teem, and so gave him a book on assertiveness, which he read on the wayhome. He had finished the book by the time he reached his house. The manstormed into the house and walked up to his wife. Pointing a finger in herface, he said, “From now on, I want you to know that ‘I’ am the man ofthis house, and my word is law! I want you to prepare me a gourmet mealtonight, and when I’m finished eating my meal, I expect a sumptuousdessert afterward. Then, after dinner, you're going to draw me my bath soI can relax. And when I’m finished with my bath, guess who’s going todress me and comb my hair?”“The funeral director,” said his wife.

Only in America
...are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.
...do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of thestore to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy ciga-rettes at the front....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a dietcoke....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to thecounters...do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway andput our useless junk in the garage....do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have callwaiting so we won’t miss a call from someone we didn’t want to talkto in the first place....do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages ofeight. (THIS ONE ALWAYS BUGGED ME!)...do we use the word ‘politics’ to describe the process so well: ‘poli’in Latin meaning ‘many’ and ‘tics’ meaning ‘bloodsucking creatures.’...do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
