A Note from Fr.Vince
Once he realized who Jesus really was, John the Baptist just couldn’t keep it to himself. He leaps up and shouts out: “Look there! The Lamb of God!” Some people take a while to learn who Jesus is. That doesn’t really matter that much. What matters is that, once we know, we’ve got to testify! –

St. Paul made the connection between baptism and death for Christians when he maintained that we are buried with Christ in baptism, so that we may rise with him to a new life. In what way will we be good stewards of that new life in the coming year?

On this Holy Day we need to reflect upon our own Baptismal calls — calls to live and love on this earth, a command to seek holiness, to actively be disciples of Christ, calls which can be achieved in part by embracing stewardship as a way of life.
