Feasibility TWG Mission
Dra_ to be discussed Develop and publish Distributed Energy Resources (DER) project feasibility data taxonomy, informaLon models and interchange standards, based on the SWG-‐generated Market Requirements Document (MRD), harmonized with each of the funcLonal categories of Design, ConstrucLon, OperaLons and Finance, resulLng in a specificaLon that is ready to use, allows data portability across the value chain, increases solar bankability through data transparency, allows for richer analyLcs, and will enable the industry to grow fast and thrive.
13
Goals – Major Milestones
• Review MRD and perform standards evaluaLon and GAP analysis
o IniLal review by November 1, 2016 • Develop Product Requirements Document (PRD)
o IniLal dra_ by December 1, 2016 • Develop data standards and technical dra_s
o IniLal dra_s by January 1, 2017 • Develop API’s and compliance test framework
o IniLal release by February 1, 2017 • IteraLve process running through November 2017
o Work in close coordinaLon with SWG while MRD is being developed o Address as many use cases from MRD as is feasible
14
Feasibility TWG Topics & DefiniLons
• Sub-‐Topic Areas (aka “Use Cases”): Is it complete? o Real Estate o Economic Analysis o InterconnecLon o Perminng o Off-‐Taker Credit o Customer Assessment o Taxes
• DefiniLon: o What does this encompass and how does it affect bankability
• Relevant Standards: o Weighted by use in industry
• Relevant Documents: o Other supplemental informaLon that supports the use case
• QuesLons: o What do we need to learn to move forward?
