• Bending angle at PSB injection: 66mrad gives around 45 mm offset of the proton beam.
• Beam pipe radius is 50mm.
• Possibility of hitting the beam pipe and missing the dump!!!

Objective of the simulations• H- beam from L4 should fit inside the stripping
foil.• H0 and H- beams after stripping should fit inside
the monitors in front of the internal dump.• Proton beam after stripping must be
transported to dump safely.

Conclusion and suggestions• From beam dynamics point of view, a
measurement bench can be installed at the position of debuncher cavity along the L4T.
• It may be a good idea to install two quadrupole magnets between the test bench and the movable dump. They may be necessary if the beam size is changed on the stripping foil.
