At a business level the challenge was to ensure effective performance while delivering excellent service to clients. At a local level, the Financial Shared Service Center services various countries thus the challenge is to find people with corresponding language skills, especially Roman languages such as French and Spanish. The advantage of Estonia is its proximity to Scandinavia, but also its historical connections to Germany, providing a cultural fit with Konecranes’ two largest markets in Europe. The biggest benefit for Konecranes are the qualified, motivated and trustful people the Estonian labor market offers.
