SELF SERVICE PASSWORD RESET TOOL

Instructions for Parents and FCS Employees

In order to use the Self Service Password Reset Tool to change or unlock an HAC or Employee account, one

MUST enroll first.

Please allow at least 15 minutes for the system to update all servers once a password has been reset or changed.

You only need to enroll ONCE. (Unless you forget the answers to your security questions, then re-enroll)

Step Action

I Enroll

1 From home screen of Self Service Password Reset Tool

First time users: Click Enroll Users who have forgotten answers to security questions: Click Re-enroll

2 Enter Account Name. Choose appropriate domain (FCBOE for employees, FCBOESTU for parents) Enter Current Password.

For FCS Employees: Account Name = your FCS username (e.g. doej)

Domain = FCBOE Password = your current password For Parents: Account Name = your HAC username (e.g. PXXXXX) Domain = FCBOESTU

Password = your current password

Click Next.

3 Answer 3 Identity Verification Questions.

Click Next.

4 When the enrollment process is complete, the message below will appear.

Click Home to return to the Home page (and then Exit the utility) or

Click Reset Password to reset your password. You are not required to reset your password after you enroll.

II Password Reset

1 You must be enrolled in order to reset your password From home screen of Self Service Password Reset Tool – Click Reset

2 Enter Account Name and choose Domain. For FCS Employees:

Account Name = your FCS username (e.g. doej) Domain = FCBOE

For Parents: Account Name = your HAC username (e.g. P123456) Domain = FCBOESTU

Click Next.

3 Provide the correct answers to Identity Verification Questions

Click Next.

4 Enter new password and then retype to confirm. Check Ask me to change password at next logon ONLY IF you want to change password again

at next log in – NOT RECOMMENDED Check Unlock my account – it is recommended to always check even if account is not locked

Click Proceed.

5 You have successfully reset your password! Click Home.

III Unlocking Account

1 From home screen of Self Service Password Reset Tool - Click Unlock.

2 Enter Account Name and choose Domain For FCS Employees: Account Name = your FCS username (e.g. doej) Domain = FCBOE

For Parents: Account Name = your HAC username (e.g. P123456) Domain = FCBOESTU

Click Next.

3 Answer Identity Verification Questions

Click Next.

4 You have successfully unlocked your account! Click Home.

IV Change Password

1 From home screen of Self Service Password Reset Tool - Click Change

2 Enter Account Name and choose Domain For FCS Employees: Account Name = your FCS username (e.g. doej) Domain = FCBOE

For Parents:

Account Name = your HAC username (e.g. P123456) Domain = FCBOESTU Enter old password, new password and confirm new password

Click Next.

3 You have successfully completed a password change!
