JUSZCZYK’S CAREER HIGHS

JUSZCZYK’S TRANSACTIONSOriginally a 4th-round (130th overall) draft choice by Bal. in 2013...Signed a four-year deal with SF on 3/10/17.

GOLDMINE (CONTINUED)• After signing with the 49ers during 2017 free agency, Juszczyk was

quickly viewed as more than a fullback by general manager John Lynch. Said Lynch of Juszczyk, “He’s an O.W. So, if you see O.W., that stands for ‘offensive weapon.’ We saw an offensive weapon that this guy (head coach Kyle Shanahan) is thrilled to be able to use in a number of different capacities and I think that kind of is symbolic of our approach.”

• In February of 2017, Juszczyk spoke at the 28th Annual banquet for the Hanover (PA) Rotary Club. He helped recognize 16 schol-ar-athletes from Hanover, Delone Catholic, South Western and Spring Grove in Pennsylvania. The event raised money for the Ha-nover Rotary Club to provide funding to local youth organizations.

• In 2015, Juszczyk hosted the inaugural Juice’s Future All-Stars Camp in Burbank, OH, with all proceeds donated to benefit Crohn’s disease research.

• Juszczyk often promotes PLAY 60, the NFL’s movement to get chil-dren active for at least 60 minutes a day. In 2013, he participated in a PLAY 60 Challenge kickoff assembly at Essex (MD) Elementary School.
