Trippingcoilsaredesignedsothatafaultvoltageoperateddevicewilloperateona40Vrisewhentheearthelectroderesistanceis500or24Vona200electrode.Singleandmultiphaseunits,withorwithoutovercurrentfacilities,areavailableforloadcurrentsupto100A
Atestdeviceisprovidedonavoltageoperatedunittoenabletheoperationofthecircuitbreakertobechecked,operationofthedeviceappliesavoltagetothetripcoilsosimulatingafault.
